September 6, 2026 — First major update: Room Battle

Mochi's first major update added Room Battle, a new gameplay mode where you build your own battle room with items and upgrades, then face rival rooms in automatic battles. The official update summary confirms:

• Room Battle — Hex-based placement, drag-and-drop, group movement and Storage for your battle room.
• Battle items — every item has its own stats, effects, cooldowns, footprint and role in your build.
• Passives and Ascensions — upgrades chosen during a run that can change how your room performs.
• Shop & economy — spend Coins, refresh the Shop, sell items and manage your economy as runs get harder.
• Battle log — watch battles in real time, inspect items, and review what happened.
• Matchmaking — the community is still small, so BOTs may fill matches; player-only matchmaking is the announced goal.
• Polish — visual refresh, new music and sound settings, UI improvements and fixes.

What to watch after launch

After release, the most useful things to track are: sticker tier lists and fusion requirements, rarity odds and drop rates, the full Bond reward table, item lists per rarity, and which collectibles become market-eligible. Everything will be verified here when published.
